The seaside town of Diano Marina has today approximately 6000 inhabitants and overlooking the the Riviera di Ponente sea, few kilometers east of the capital “Imperia”. Diano Marina earns his Town Hall at the end of 1700 (1798) and becomes part of the Kingdom of Italy, after the Kingdom of Sardinia and the Ligurian Republic, in 1861. In its modern history, the city of Diano Marina is popular with tourists and artists from all over the world, an attitude that is common to many of the cities of Liguria, but with the construction of the marina promotes unquestionably the top destination tourist smarter, equipped and desirable.
